Fall is finally here and I couldn’t be more excited. Cooler temperatures, corn mazes, pumpkin carving and the excitement of the upcoming holidays make this my favorite time of the year. I am always on the look out for new ways to make fun memories with my daughters so when I found the Sneek-A-Boos book on Instagram I knew it would be perfect for our family!

What are Sneek-A-Boos?

Sneek-A-Boos are bats that ‘show up’ during the month of October to celebrate Halloween and often bring a trick or treat to their little friends. The set comes with a beautifully illustrated children’s book and a stuffed bat. The bat even has wire ears and wings for easy posing and clear hooks on his feet so he can hang upside down!

An Instant Classic, A New Tradition

My daughter loved the storybook and bat plush instantly. We’ve read the book multiple times and I know we will continue reading it throughout October. If your child is a fan of Elf on the Shelf, they’ll love the Sneek-A-Boos bat too! There aren’t as many ‘rules’ as Elf on the Shelf so you don’t have to worry about coming up with crazy antics every night, or your kiddo accidentally touching it and having a meltdown.

In fact, your bat doesn’t have to do anything but be a cuddly friend for your child to bring the story to life! I’m definitely planning to have our Sneek-A-Boos bat bring a special treat and maybe a trick or two this October.

If you want to learn more about welcoming your own Sneek-A-Boos bat, check them out on Instagram or order on Amazon (its even prime eligible).
