Drink More Water
No matter how much water you’re currently consuming, you can always benefit by drinking more. One of my favorite motivations for drinking more water is buying a new, cute cup! Pick one with a motivational saying or maybe with a little sparkle and then strive to drink out of it each day. For extra daily reminders, check out these ten hydration apps.
Go for a Walk
We walk our dogs twice a day and occasionally take an extra walk to our neighborhood park when the weather is nice. Sometimes, just the chance to get out of the house can do wonders. Find an excuse to get outside and get moving! Bonus points for pushing a stroller, babywearing, pulling a wagon, etc ?
Cook Meals at Home
Eating out is delicious and soooo convenient (I’m looking at you Chick-fil-A), but taking the time to cook a meal at home is almost always healthier for your body and budget.
Do Something Active You Love
Whether you love running, dancing or yoga, make time this year to do more of it. Many local gyms have classes and daycare (bonus!) or check out these apps to exercise at home.
