DIY Disney Princess Ornaments for Christmas
DIY Disney Princess Ornaments for Christmas
This year, since Daddy’s deployed, we decided to have a girly Christmas tree. There’s just something so special about hand made Christmas decorations. As a fun craft with my girls, we made these sparkly DIY Disney Ornament crafts and I’m sharing all the details below.

Getting Started
First and foremost, I gathered all the glitter and sparkly things I could find. I have a pretty large craft selection from various projects. This was a great way to use up some old supplies. The large plastic ornaments are from the Dollar Tree and the small ones are from a bulk pack bought at Hobby Lobby. I purchased glitter in the few colors I needed (but didn’t have on hand).
For most of the DIY Disney Ornament designs, I painted a layer of Mod Podge and then added loose glitter. I added fun little accents as they fit for each character. I love that each one has lots of sparkle and perfectly captures the character it represents. We had so much fun making these and can’t wait to hang them on our Christmas tree!
TIP: If you want to ensure the glitter doesn’t come off, add a second layer of Mod Podge over top!
