3 Quick & Easy Meal Ideas for Back to School
These Quick & Easy Meal Ideas for Back to School are sponsored by BabbleBoxx.
School is officially back in session and with it comes homework, extracurriculars and lots of busy nights. As much as I try to plan ahead, it’s not always possible to make a homemade dinner from scratch. I have several go-to meals that keep my family fed and happy, but are super simple to make. Here are three quick and easy meal ideas for your family to try on busy nights.
Homemade Pizzas
What family doesn’t love pizza? One of of our favorite go-to meals is homemade pizza using this Family Size Pizza Crust from Jus Rol. The fresh dough comes pre-rolled on parchment paper allowing for quicker prep time, better baking and easy clean up. Add some seasoning, tomato sauce, cheese and toppings, and dinner is ready!
Best of all, this pizza dough is Non-GMO, with no artificial flavors or colors, high fructose corn syrup, or bleached flour. It is also made in the USA with the finest US and imported ingredients. Making pizza is a quick and easy dinner idea and even gives kids an opportunity to help in the kitchen.
Jus Rol also makes a DELICIOUS Puff Pastry Dough that comes ready to bake, no thawing, rolling pin or prep work required. We recently made delicious apple cinnamon turnovers which are a perfect treat as we head into fall. This puff pastry dough can be used for so many delicious recipes like Puffy Pumpkin Pops or Cinnamon Rolls.
Breakfast for Dinner
Another quick and easy dinner idea that my kids love is breakfast for dinner. This delicious French Crepe mix from Farin’UP is perfect if you’re in a hurry. Just add milk, and in five minutes yummy crepes are ready to eat. I love the convenient packaging so I can easily store and re-use the mix.
These Protein Balls are a favorite for snack time and quick breakfasts in the morning. This mix is plant based and Gluten Free with Almond Blackcurrant & Cranberry. They are so easy to make with no baking needed. Just add water and honey, within minutes these protein balls are ready to eat. I love putting them in the freezer to pop into my girls lunch boxes too!
These mixes are currently available at Publix, Lowes, Amazon and many more new retailers coming soon! Save 15% off sitewide wide when you order online at www.farinup.us using code BTS22INF01 (Valid from Aug 20 till Sept 22, 2022)
Anything in the Microwave
When you’re making dinner in a matter of minutes, there is nothing easier (and faster) than using the microwave. One of my go-to’s is flavored rice cups from Minute Rice. Most people know the Minute Rice brand but do not know that they make a full line of microwavable rice cups that are ready to eat in just ONE minute.
When I’m in a hurry, I rely heavily on my microwave for quick and easy meals. Mixed with frozen veggies and pre-cooked chicken (both easily heated up in the microwave), these Minute Rice Cups are a fast and easy mealtime solution. So easy, my girls could make it on their own and they love helping work the microwave.
I hope these Quick & Easy Meal Ideas for Back to School inspired you to try something new. What is your go-to meal when you’re in a hurry? I’d love to know!
