The Disney Riviera Resort is the newest addition to the Walt Disney World family of hotel options. This resort connects to Hollywood Studios and Epcot via the new Skyliner transportation gondolas that also connects to Art of Animation Resort. #1 Comfort for the Whole Family
We loved our studio suite at the Disney Riviera Resort. There are so many sleeping options which helped accommodate our family at night. However, the room is cleverly designed with convenient ways to hide the bedding to provide open living space during the day.
There is one pull down twin size bed under the TV area and another full size pull down bed that converts from the couch seating area. With so much space, our family of five slept comfortably.
In addition to lots of bed space, there are also TWO showers with a separated toilet and sink area. This allowed everyone to shower quickly after a long, hot day at the park.
#2 The View
All of the rooms at the Disney Riviera Resort have a balcony. Our room overlooked the pool area. We could even see Tower of Terror at Hollywood Studios from our room which was extra fun. I don’t think there is a bad view from any of the rooms.
#3 The Artwork
I loved walking through the resort and seeing vintage movie posters from classic Disney movies. There are also several gorgeous painted Disney themed portraits throughout the hotel. I wish I had some of these for my own home.
#4 The Kitchenette
I wish EVERY Disney resort had a kitchenette. Especially with young kids, it is so handy to have a microwave and fridge to prepare and store food. While many of the family suites at Disney resorts have kitchenettes, EVERY room at the Riviera Resort has one.
#5 The Murals
I am a sucker for a good photo wall and the Disney Riviera Resort has TWO. In the courtyard along the path toward the gondolas, there are two stunning tile murals. My girls thought these murals were magical!
