Vampirina is a favorite show in our house. As a party planner, I’m constantly working on new themes. When my daughter asked if we could have a Vampirina party, I just couldn’t say no. Here’s my fun and easy Vampirina party ideas and free printables.
Halloween is the perfect time to grab some spooky props for a Vampirina themed party. Purple, pink, black and small pops of bright blue are the ideal color scheme for this ghoulish gala. I used lots of cheap black cheese cloth to give it a spooky look. Our bin of Halloween decor came out a little early so I could use some of the props I already had on hand. I painted a Dollar Tree pumpkin and added wings (below) to be the centerpiece for our table.
Food Fit for a Vampire
It was fun planning the menu for our little party. I cut PB&J sandwiches with a bat cookie cutter and also served grapes, sour gummy worms, ghost cookies and cupcakes. My daughter made the chocolate cupcakes with her Aunt and put sparkly purple sprinkles on top. We served red cranberry juice in plastic ‘fancy’ cups from the Dollar Tree. We also painted the bottoms with glitter and Modge Podge to give it a little sparkle. The spiders and bats on the cupcakes are also from the Dollar Tree and were simply glued onto lollipop sticks.
Frightful Fun for Your Guests
At our party, my daughter insisted on ghoulish make-overs. We bought purple and glow-in-the-dark nail polishes as well as sparkly eye shadow and purple glitter hairspray. I used an ornate black mirror on the table to give it a monstrous look. Those bat headbands were PERFECT and also a dollar store find.
