Disney with Preschoolers: Choosing Art of Animation Resort

Thank you to Disney who hosted our vacation and accommodated our stay at Art of Animation in exchange for media coverage. All opinions are my own.

During the Preschool Fam event, we had the opportunity to stay at Walt Disney World Resort’s Art of Animation. This wasn’t my first time staying at Art of Animation but it was the first time staying in a Cars Family Suite. This is my favorite Disney resort with young kids. It is whimsical, fun and affordable.

Art of Animation

Art of Animation is comprised of four themed areas including the Little Mermaid, Cars, Lion King and Finding Nemo. Each section has larger than life statues and paintings to bring each theme to life. We could have spent a whole day exploring the resort and hanging out in the pool. While each section has it’s own pool, the Finding Nemo splash pad was our favorite. The jellyfish pool also plays music underwater!

Cars Family Suite

The Cars Family Suite sleeps six comfortably, plus extra space for a crib if needed. The suite has two bathrooms. The space includes a foldout table/Murphy bed combo. There is also a kitchenette with mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker and sink. This was especially helpful to store snacks and waters in our room for when we returned from a long day at the parks.
