In honor of our 4th wedding anniversary, (married on 11/11/11), I figured I would take out my wedding dress and see what kind of fun pictures I could create. These turned out to be some of my favorite of the sweet princess and so sentimental too!

Once the princess lost patience with me, lol, I decided to take a few of the close up details as well. I mean, after all, I already had it out and the photographer from our wedding didn’t really capture images of the dress close up. One of my favorite details is the lace on the front. It is actually lace from my mothers wedding gown that I had sewn on to surprise her! My grandmother helped add the lace and even added crystals and pearls to match the designs on the rest of the dress.

Another fun fact, my bouquet is made of roses my husband gave me over the course of a year of dating. I told him I wouldn’t say yes to a proposal unless we dated for a full year. To count down, he gave me a rose each month with a charm from Things Remembered, engraved with the month. It was really special to combine some of those roses to make the bouquet I would carry on our wedding day. So much more meaningful that real flowers that would have withered and died days later.
