Walt Disney World hosted our vacation in exchange for media coverage, including our experience at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. As always, my opinions are my own.
We were so excited for the opportunity to visit the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Disney Springs on our Disney vacation. What little girl wouldn’t love to be pampered with the ultimate royal treatment?Everything you need to know about a trip to Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique @waltdisneyworld #DisneyKids Click To Tweet
What to Expect
Upon entering, we checked in and chose our package and hair style. The “Fairy Godmother in Training” had a handy sheet with pictures of each hair style and the colors available. This made it so much easier for my daughter to communicate what she wanted. She chose the Color Star style with pink hair. Once those important decisions are made, your little princess (and the royal family) will be whisked away to a dressing room. You can view our video below to see how the magic happens.
Once complete, the Fairy Godmother in Training escorts your little one to her pampering chair and proceeds with her royal treatment. The talented and patient Fairy Godmother did my daughter’s hair, make-up, and nails all with tons of Pixie Dust. After the transformation is finished, they will announce Disney’s newest princess and escort her into a room with Cinderella’s Carriage for an adorable photo shoot.
Photos Fit for a Princess
Disney provides a PhotoPass photographer within the salon. If you have Memory Maker, all photos will be uploaded to your MyDisneyExperience App. Of course, you’re always welcome to take your own photos too. I highly suggest video to fully capture this experience. In addition to the photo op in front of Cinderella’s Carriage, there is a PhotoPass studio at Disney Springs (behind Ghirardelli). They have tons of green screen background options (to match nearly any princess). They also have a professional portrait background with lots of props and fun ways to make it extra magical. Don’t miss the chance to get all the photos you can!
I have had so many moms ask how much this experience was. In many ways, watching my daughter experience this was priceless. There are several package options starting at just $64.95. There were a few to choose from including The Crown Package, The Courtyard Package, The Castle Package, and The Princess Signature Dress Collection. They even offer The Royal Knight Package for a Disney Prince. For a full list of packages and prices click here.
Disney gifted us The Crown Package as part of the Preschool Fam media event. We opted to purchase a Rapunzel dress ($60) and shoes ($30) as well. You can bring your own dress to change into prior to starting the make-over process if you wish. My daughter took home an adorable Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique backpack with plenty of goodies inside including: her make-up palette, nail polish, comb, a make-up remover wipe and a bottle of shampoo.
The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique experience is for children ages 3-12. There’s a very fine line between being old enough to remember an experience like this and being ‘too old’ for Fairy Godmothers. Those preschool years are the perfect time to plan a Disney vacation, and a trip to the Bibbidy Bobbidi Boutique. My daughter has such a magical experience and talks about it all the time.
There is another Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique location inside Cinderella’s Castle at Magic Kingdom. If you plan to add this magical make-over to your Walt Disney World vacation, I highly recommend making a reservation. Learn more.
